As everyone becomes more familiar with skin primers and the benefits that they give to a longer lasting, smoother looking base, I received this primer with a difference. I’ve worked with many formulations from many brands but this was the first 100% vegan and cruelty free product that I’d been made aware of that, for me, delivers on it’s promise.
Until recently many chemically safe organic and vegetarian ranges suffered from complaints of not being strongly pigmented enough, long lasting enough or able to compete with the big established names and their heavy-duty formulations. This has recently began to change as lots of great affordable, quality ranges have proven that they can deliver on all of the above and are slowly making their mark on all areas of the make-up world. While there is still a way to go they are definitely making tracks.
This OCC primer feels lovely on the skin, is fragrance free and is best described as an ultra light, easily absorbed lotion. It contains Chamomile extract to sooth and treat the skin and Cornflour extract for it’s moisture balancing properties. A little goes a long way and it can easily be applied with fingers, sponge or brush to get the results you want. It’s an excellent alternative for those who can’t bear the texture of serums and can also be used as a lightweight moisturiser on days that you wish to go makeup free.
