We’ve been busy creating some brand new Youtube tutorials for all you beauty therapy addicts out there! You can choose from Aromatherapy Essential Oils Lowdown which includes helpful information relating to note categories, popular oils and their uses and also some new warm waxing tutorials such as the upper leg, abdomen, forearm, eyebrows, lip and chin.

There’s lots happening at Homespa Beauty this summer, with a whole host of tutorials in development for the coming months (we always listen to requests from viewers so if you have an idea please contact us), new courses about to be launched (here’s a clue; there’s heat involved in more than one!) and our 10th birthday at the end of June with one or two surprises for you lovely people!

As so often happens in our industry, a lot of work is held for specific seasons and it is often the case that it’s all released around the same time. The spring/summer stories are now starting to hit the shelves and it’s great to see the results in print!

This week Core Magazine ran the Bohemian Rhapsody editorial which focused on gorgeous Model Team new face Lucy Garvie styling out a variety of maxi dresses, jumpsuits and gypsy inspired pieces in stunning fashion - I particularly love her chic accessorising of the mini birdcage!

For many of us the constant cycle of hair removal is time consuming, often painful and frequently ineffective. Shaving can cause rashes, ingrown hairs and unsightly cuts, abrasive discs or mitts are exactly that (a bit like sandpaper!) and epilators are effective but can be time consuming, uncomfortable and only tolerable on certain areas (not many takers for the bikini area!). Hair removal cream is a great short term product but you can cause chemical burns if you leave it on too long and within a few days you’ve got regrowth.
